Dato' Dr. Teh Tai Yong

Dato' Dr. Teh Tai Yong, was called to the Honorable Society of Lincoln Inns, London as a Barrister-at-Law in England and Wales in 2004. In 2005, he was called to the Malaysian Bar, and admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya. He obtained a Master Degree in Law (LL.M) from the University of Malaya in 2008, majoring in Company Law, Securities Regulations, Land Law, Intellectual Property Law and ICT Laws. Possessing an entrepreneurial spirit, he is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) degree course by research. He has very good exposure in corporate works, especially in matters relating to IPO, corporate merger and acquisition exercises, and has been very actively involved in high value properties transactions and corporate works, including representing public listed companies. He is a registered trade mark, patent and industrial design agent and he advises clients, on protection of intellectual property rights and registration procedures. As a Senior Partner of Teh Kim Teh, Salina & Co, he is in charge of supervising the operation of our firm’s offices at Kota Damansara, Selangor and Johor Bahru, Johor. He supervises most of the works allocated to us by EcoWorld Development Group Berhad, SP Setia Berhad, IOI Properties Berhad and Encorp Berhad. Dato’ Teh Tai Yong is a much sought-after speaker on legal topics at international and local conferences, as well as public and in-house seminars for corporate bodies, banks, associations, and universities. In 2011, he authored a book entitled “Profitability, Stats From The Legal Aspects”, which discussed and provided practical legal opinion and advice on property transactions in Malaysia, and co-authored law articles, which were published in The Star, International Journal of Law and Management (IJLM), Computer and Telecommunications Law Review (CTLR) and Current Law Journal (CLJ). He currently serves as a member of Ad-Hoc PDPA Committee of the Malaysian Bar and member of Legal Bureau of Hokkien Association Klang, Selangor, and is also the appointed Visiting Research Fellow for Southwest University of Political Science and Law at Chongqing, China (SWUPL). ​Dato' Teh Tai Yong, also served for 2 years as the Volunteering  Chairman of Board of Trustees at SASTRA Education Development Sdn Bhd. and supports towards the Human  and Career Development Center Project.
